About the candidate
MGHRO is a Budapest-based humanitarian organisation and the vision of its founder, Gibril Deen, is to fight for the rights of migrants and refugees, to combat racism and discrimination against foreigners, and to encourage social inclusion at all levels within our community. Established in 1992, MGHRO has implemented a number of projects, from legal aid for migrants and refugees in Hungary to organising cultural events. It has also organised workshops and training in several high schools, highlighting topics such as discrimination, tolerance and diversity, the Roma community, and African culture. Additionally, MGHRO has always given attention to football as a means to fight discrimination and overcome communication difficulties among minorities and migrants.
